International teachers eligibility to teach in the UK
In order to reside and engage in employment within the United Kingdom, it is imperative for all foreign educators to possess a valid work visa. Those individuals who hold either a United Kingdom or European Union passport are exempt from any limitations when it comes to teaching in the UK. Additionally, overseas trained teachers (OTTs) must possess a teaching qualification that is fully recognized, and in certain cases, registration from their country of origin. It is worth noting that citizens of specific nations, including Romania, Croatia, and Bulgaria, may necessitate special authorization to work in the United Kingdom, even if their employment is temporary in nature.

British Overseas citizens, British Overseas Territories citizens, British Nationals (Overseas), British Protected Persons, and British Subjects are all categories of British nationality that necessitate authorization to reside and labor in the United Kingdom. If an individual is not a British citizen, EEA (European Area) citizen, or Swiss national, they must submit a visa application to be eligible for employment in the UK.
There exist six distinct categories of visas that grant individuals the authorization to engage in employment within the United Kingdom. These categories are outlined as follows:
1. Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa
2. Anchestry Dependent Visa
3. EEA Family permit
4. Spouse Visa
5. Tier 2 (General) Skilled Worker Visa
6. Anchestry Visa
